Good History Research Essay Questions

The requirements for your paper will vary depending on whether you are in high school, college, or a postgraduate student.

In high school, you may be able to choose an easy topic and cite five or six sources you found on Google or Yahoo!

For example, an economics class may require a business research paper, while a class on human behavior may call for a psychology research paper.

A researchable topic with several potential sources gives you access to the level of information you need to become an authority on the subject.

Your Audience: An interesting topic to you may not necessarily be interesting to your professor or whoever is grading your research paper.

Now you need to narrow down the broad question, ideally moving towards a hypothesis or thesis question.

For example, looking at the above general question, you could arrive at: Once you have a good research paper question, you can then begin to generate a testable hypothesis or research question, and construct your paper around this.

  1. If it is forbidden to say or even think something because the symbolic would not allow it, for example if a child says “I don't want to go to school today. In other words, this child's not saying he doesn't like to go to school is not articulated in language, but in a real headache.
